This award is given annually in memory of Chris “Skip” Miller.  Chris was only 17 at the time of his death and was looking forward to becoming a “Jaycee” when he turned 21.  He didn’t let his age stop him from volunteering to help the Clover Jaycees in any way that he could.  He was an energetic, fun loving individual who was always only a phone call away if the Jaycees ever needed help with anything.

Several weeks before his death, Chris could be found at the current Jaycee hall, helping to tear out the ceiling, floors and walls to prepare for the renovation of our building.  It was a dream that he held very close to his heart.

Each year, the local Clover Jaycee chapter votes on an individual from our chapter who they feel has gone above and beyond the call of duty.  This individual is someone who has attended meetings, state conventions, chaired projects, etc.

Previous Winners:
Annette Adams - 2000
Jonathan Armstrong - 2001
Scott Boling - 2002
Wayne Elliott - 2003
Scott Moses - 2004
Christy Hatcher - 2005
